CareNet Pregnancy Center

CareNet Pregnancy Center

CareNet is a non-profit organization that supports a network of 700 pregnancy resource centers in the United States and Canada. These centers offer free pregnancy tests, peer counseling, post-abortion support and other practical help to empower women and men facing pregnancy related concerns.

Each year, 3 million women in America face unplanned pregnancies. Too many times, these women have no one to turn to for help.  There is much to do. Each year, more than 1.2 million women in America still choose abortion. CareNet is committed to spreading a message of hope and compassion to women who may otherwise believe that abortion is their only realistic option.

Their focus is women in need.

Here are CrossWay there are many ways you can participate in supporting the Center.  Each year in the spring, there is an annual 2-mile walkathon you can either walk in or sponsor someone else who is walking.  This event is their second largest fund raiser, but also serves to bring awareness to the community of the needs of women in crisis.

In addition, on Mother's Day each year we celebrate motherhood by putting on a "baby shower" for the Center.  Items are collected and donated to them in support of the ministry they offer to the community.
