God created us in his image to live in relationship with him. But we rebelled against God, choosing to call our own shots. A decision that has led to separation from God and one another; to lives filled heartache, misery, guilt, shame, and regret.

So God went to work and sent his Son Jesus into the world. Jesus came into the world to bring new life to those of us trapped in death. He came to restore our relationship to God. He came to reconcile all creation to God. Jesus came offering us this life in the form of an invitation: "Follow Me. Follow me and I will make your spirit alive with the Spirit of God. I will then teach you how to live more and more like the man or woman that God created you to be."

"Follow me and your life will change," Jesus says. His leadership both challenges you and enables you to change. In fact, you cannot follow Jesus and remain the same. Jesus will ask you to lay aside a heart of greed for a heart of generosity. Jesus will ask you to lay aside a heart of jealousy for a heart of contentment. Jesus will ask you to lay aside the anger and bitterness that just consumes you, and replace it with a heart of forgiveness and grace. Jesus will ask you to lay aside busyness and driven-ness for a peace that passes human understanding. Jesus will ask you to lay aside self-centeredness and replace it with service.

You cannot follow Jesus and remain the same; and I’m glad. Because I’m not the man I want to be. Yet the more Jesus transforms my life the more alive I become. The same is true for you. The more Jesus transforms your life, the more alive you become.

At CrossWay we are serious about following Jesus; about being his apprentices or disciples. Our apprenticeship to Jesus means that he is teaching us how to live his kind of life. The Holy Spirit works through spiritual disciplines or practices to change our character from the inside out.

The Journey Seminar – Part 1 and 2

The Journey Seminar is a two part interactive, informative, enjoyable learning experience seeking to orient people from different backgrounds to the Christian life at CrossWay. It prepares you for ongoing involvement and membership, if you would like to take that important step. Continental breakfast, light lunch, and snacks will be provided. Childcare is not provided. How to Spend an Ordinary Day with Jesus

This seminar helps you begin to learn how to live as an apprentice to Jesus in your everyday life. You will see how Jesus wants to be a part of every activity, conversation, and thought; everyday and every moment.

This seminar helps you take further steps on the path of becoming more like Jesus. You will learn about spiritual disciplines and how God uses them to transform our lives from the inside out.

Good Sense

This seminar helps you learn to manage the financial resources God entrusts to you in a biblical and wise way. These principles can help you make good sense out of your financial life.
