Adult Small Groups

It is impossible to be a Christ follower and a lone ranger.  We were all created to experience meaningful relationships and to practice following Christ in community alongside of one another.  Sunday mornings are a fantastic part of our church experience, but they’re not a whole picture of the church.

Please consider joining a small group;  a place where we can ask questions, share stories, and invest in growing relationships with Jesus Christ and others.  To view small groups times and locations click on the type of group you're interested in below.

For more info, questions or further help please contact a member of our Adult Ministries Team: Tim Lafferty, Phil McArdle, and Maurice Eastwick.

Maurice and his bride, Iris, grew up together in the same town in England where they attended the same church. They cannot remember a time when they did not know each other. For the past 48 years they have been engaged in full time Christian service: living in England, Jamaica, Canada, Peru, Mexico and here in America. Maurice has served as senior pastor of 4 churches and in senior leadership roles with Scripture Union in Canada, Mexico and the USA. They have three grown children and ten grandchildren.

Tim and his family were warmly welcomed when they first came to CrossWay in 1997. Tim was working in the business world at the time and was familiar with the challenges of raising a family affected by disability. Several years later God called Tim to full-time ministry and he joined the CrossWay staff in 2004. Tim is passionate about CrossWay’s mission to bring living hope to broken people through a growing relationship with Jesus, and he considers it a privilege to minister and serve people of all abilities and disabilities. Tim loves spending time with his wife Joan and son Pete, and enjoys being outdoors in God’s creation.

Originally from the Midwest, Phil came to New England in 2003 to do a summer long youth ministry internship in Brandon, VT. In 2004, he took on a resident leadership role at EastPointe Christian Church in Portland, ME and eventually joined the launch team for Reunion Church in Boston, MA. Phil served as Reunion’s Director of Community and Generosity for nearly 6 years before moving to Nashua. Being passionate about bringing living hope to broken people through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ made it pretty easy for the McArdles to link arms with CrossWay! With running as a common interest, the McArdles have made the Nashua River Rail Trail a frequent family stop where Phil and his wife Jen can run, and their daughters Alexis and Skylar can ride along.
